Rachel Jensen is a New Yorker turned island girl who traded the fast pace American life for the barefoot, beachy vibe of Ambergris Caye. After a work trip brought her to Belize in 2012, she instantly fell in love with the island’s colorful charm and laid-back lifestyle. Shortly thereafter, her work trips had turned permanent, and San Pedro officially became home.
With a background as VP of Sales & Marketing for a multinational development company, Rachel took the leap in 2022 to launch Luna Realty Belize — a boutique brokerage built around her passion for helping people find their perfect place under the sun.
She’s also the co-host of The Gringa and The Local podcast, where she and her co-host and long-time friend, Job, share funny, real, and sometimes surprising stories about life, work, and adventures in Belize.
When she’s not touring properties or recording episodes, you’ll find Rachel volunteering in the community, serving on the board of the Belize National Association of Real Estate (BNAR) and ACES Wildlife Rescue, or rallying support for the annual San Pedro Christmas toy and food drive.
Her “off-duty” hours usually involve hanging out with her son and dogs, hiking, trying new foods, exploring new real estate, or hopping on a plane for her next adventure.
